I haven't begun looking at the whynots, but is it possible that Barbara Boxer's (spectacular and justified) savaging of Condiloser Rice -- particularly coming so close on the heels of her lonesome stand with the House members -- is the start of her campaign for the presidency in 2006?

I mean, DAMN! She's on fire lately. She's also just been reelected to her Senate seat, I believe, and doesn't have that to muddy her thinking.

(I'm ruling out the notion that she is acting noble just for the hell of it, since she's a Senator and they rarely do that).

Anyway, she's a country mile ahead of John Fucking Kerry in my book right now.
